CINS ARMY BRIEF
Stress And Burnout In It And Cybersecurity Are For Real
Our Take
Never been a fan of hyperbolic headlines that use terms like “breaking point” and “We should all be worried,” but stress and burnout in IT and cybersecurity are real concerns. Beyond the obvious sales pitch we would make as a managed security provider, another important factor in addressing these stresses isn’t quite so obvious: Relationships.
The more open IT and cyber teams are with the organization as a whole, the more trust they can build, which leads to a more effective cyber program … and trust and understanding go both ways. If the organization trusts that the cyber team is doing their job and understand them on a personal level, the better everyone can work together every day – or when they brush up against a breach or ransomware attack.
