COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENTS

The First Tagitm Industry Partner Award Goes To Nomic Networks

At this past Texas Association of Government IT Managers (TAGITM) conference, Nomic Networks was humbled to receive the very first-ever Industry Partner Award. This new award was instituted to honor companies that go above and beyond to build strong relationships with their customers and peers.

It was an incredible validation for our team, and represents our commitment to establishing genuine relationships with the companies we serve.

An award based on relationships

Here’s the official word on the award, per the TAGITM website:

The Texas Association of IT Managers (TAGITM) annually presents the Industry Partner Award to a company or organization that has displayed exceptional partnership and support to the TAGITM community.

The award symbolizes the recipient’s strong commitment to advancing technology in local government and their invaluable contributions to providing technology solutions to TAGITM members. The recipient is selected by the Awards Committee of TAGITM, taking into account factors such as the level of support provided, the organization’s impact on the community, and client satisfaction … The TAGITM Industry Partner Award is a prestigious recognition in the Texas technology industry, and is a testament to the recipient’s dedication and commitment to advancing technology in the state.

What we like best about our job

We consider it a huge honor to have been selected as this year’s recipient, and with it feel an increased responsibility to live up to it. At Nomic, we’ve always made it a priority to deliver personalized support for all our security services. When our clients call our Support Team, they don’t have to deal with teirs of support and red tape; instead, they end up with one of our subject matter experts (SMEs), usually someone who has personally had their hands in the code themselves, and get a complete analysis rather than a one-dimensional fix.

We care about our clients, most of whom are small organizations like us. We pride ourselves on providing a level of boutique customer service that can be hard to find in today’s enterprise-driven economy. At any level, putting clients and their needs first in the business will always yield good rewards on both sides, no matter what sacrifices you have to make to get there.

Giving clients – and our tech – the respect they deserve

We’re just happy that we’ve been able to give our customers the level of support they deserve to get the most out of our products. Our technology platforms are the real gems, and we consider it a pleasure and a point of pride to be able to personally walk our clients through our innovations and how to use them.

There has been a lot of head-scratching and innovation around Nomic as the team has grappled with the security issues facing everyone these days: evolving platforms, cloud migration, an increase in emerging threats, and a grab-bag of solutions to go along with it. After much anticipation, we were proud to release Insight at the start of the year and add to our portfolio of attainable, enterprise-grade security solutions for the lean IT team.

Insight is just one example of our modus operandi. We aim to streamline the process of enterprise-grade security and get down to the nuts and bolts of what’s really necessary to do the job. Then we roll it out in a suite of practical, no-nonsense solutions and give our partners as much of our time as they need to really feel they’re using the platforms to their fullest extent. That is, after all, why we made them.

A chance to serve the community

We’ve simply been astounded by the level of dedication put in by our client teams that are overworked, understaffed, and remain unphased. We feel the obligation to match their effort and will, and try to do so with each new partner we serve. And we will continue to do so.

For a smaller cybersecurity firm like us, this award was a very big deal. People are still our priority, their problems are still our problems, and our engineers are probably on the phone with customers as this piece is being read. And that’s the way we like it.

Good security, especially for those without the time or expertise to master it, is all about partnering with someone who knows the ropes and will have your back. It requires a little (and sometimes a lot) of guidance, and it’s hard to get it right the first time, which is why all those additional touchpoints matter. As businesses within our Texas community see the need for increased cyber defenses, we’re happy to be the ones to welcome them in and let them know that what they need, they can get.

Security has always been much more than a business transaction, and for Nomic, it always will be.

Put Us In Your Corner.

We back you up with managed threat protection, visibility, and support, 24/7.
