Network Security Isn't Just Our Business. It's Our Passion.

The first iteration of Sentinel Intrusion Prevention Systems (Sentinel IPS) – now Nomic Networks – began in Dallas, Texas, in 1995, at the dawn of the World Wide Web. Although we started as web developers, we soon pivoted to network security, driven by the belief that everyone—and every sized company—has the fundamental right to be secure on the Internet.

We support small businesses, state, local government and municipalities, and companies with lean IT departments that simply don’t have the security expertise or the time to put one more thing on their already overflowing plates. We couldn’t find an integrated solution that checked all the boxes, so, we assembled a team of innovators and developed our own.

What started as a small team’s passion project has grown substantially over the years. We’ve continued to expand our solutions’ functionality and features, and now support small and mid-size IT and network security teams around the world. Our customers range from Fortune 100 firms to government and municipal agencies, from financial institutions to a diverse mix of small and mid-sized businesses in almost every industry.

Meet our Leadership

Ted Gruenloh

Chief Executive Officer

Ted has worked with network security and web technologies for almost 30 years, beginning his career as a full-stack web engineer and transitioning to network security. He now guides Nomic and its supporting initiatives, including CINS Active Threat Intelligence.

Chris Gathright

Chief Technology Officer

Chris leads all of Nomic's product development and internal technology teams. His 20 years of diverse experience in network security and offensive cyber operations across the intelligence community, universities, and startup environments are an asset to Nomic's evolving product suite.

Bob Sherer

Chief Customer Officer

Bob directs the Managed Security Operations team, leaning on his 30 years of experience as a software developer and security analyst, and his focus on customer service. His team's expertise and proactive support are the driving forces behind Nomic's impeccable customer satisfaction.

Greg Pannell

Director of Sales

Greg manages all business development operations. With four decades of channel and sales experience in IT, Greg's greatest asset is his ability to foster long-lasting, meaningful business relationships.

Denise Paruolo

Controller

Denise manages all budgeting, financial planning, and cash operations for the company. Her 30 years of experience span across a diverse array of technical industries including network security, telecom, and various non-profit organizations.

David Lissberger

Chairman of the Board

David originally founded Econet.com as a web design and internet services company in the 90s, and guided its successful transition to a network security company in the early 2000s. He still serves as a trusted advisor and Chairman of the Board.
