AI vs AI in Cybersecurity
Continuing the theme of last month's CINS Brief, AI is simply everywhere in cyber news, usually hyping the fact that the bad guys are way ahead of the good guys. Legit concerns to be sure, but with all the noise it's easy to forget that the basics still matter: Our old friend the CIS Controls would point you to asset inventory, vulnerability scanning, patching, and identity management, for example. The good news here? Those controls are ripe for good-guy AI enhancements ... Assuming you can afford them.
